Uganda’s Georgina Nantandwe wins Miss Pride Of Africa UK 2024
Uganda’s representative, Georgina Nantandwe has taken the crown at the Miss Pride Of Africa United Kingdom beauty pageant 2024 grand finale. Daberachi Njoku, Nigeria’s representative, emerged as the first runner-up, while Ghana’s representative, Della Buakuma was the second runner-up.
According to the competition, young African ladies in the UK get to have a chance to shine a spotlight on Africa as a whole. Hosted in North London, the beauty pageant grooms “African youths into women leaders to impact their communities in Africa, the UK, and the world at large.”
As the new winner of the Miss Pride Of Africa UK, Georgina will become an ambassador on behalf of all African countries and various organizations. She will travel to Africa to take part in human capital development projects, and also experience the culture and heritage of Africa.
Until the next pageant, Georgina will play a central role in representing Miss Pride Of Africa UK in making donations and contributions to various charitable institutions, as well as total involvement in the UK as an African ambassador.
The pageant’s “heart of charity and soul of female empowerment” creates a competitive event designed to promote beauty, African unity, talent, heritage, and culture.
Contestants are given the opportunity to “inspire each other, look and feel beautiful inside and out, tell their own stories to the different communities and the world at large, and, most importantly, build their self-esteem.”
