Artist, Mr Eazi Proposes to Nigerian Billionaire’s Daughter, Temi Otedola
Oluwatosin Ajibade, better known as Mr Eazi, a Nigerian singer and composer, has proposed to Temioluwa Elizabeth Otedola, his longtime lover.
After five years of dating, the billionaire’s daughter announced her engagement to her boyfriend on her official Instagram page.
She posted a video of Mr Eazi proposing to her near the water’s edge, with an infinity sign as a caption.
Florence Otedola, commonly known as DJ Cuppy, Temi’s sister and a disc jockey, tweeted a congratulatory post, quoting her sister’s tweet.
The posts have gone viral and congratulatory messages are pouring in on social media for the couple. The couple have sparked the spotlights with their show of affection online and personal career.
Mr Eazi with many awards and recognitions to his name is credited with inventing Banku music, which he describes as a synthesis of Ghanaian highlife and Nigerian chord progressions and patterns.
Temi Otedola however, rose to spotlight following her debut as a lead role in the Netflix Original film ‘Citation.’ Temi set out to provide a bridge between Africa and global luxury fashion, beauty, art, and culture when she launched her JTO blog in 2014. Temi is an activist for women’s rights across Africa and a global ambassador for the Women At Risk Foundation, denouncing violence and sexual misconduct.
Her father Femi Otedola, is a Nigerian businessman, philanthropist, and former chairman of Forte Oil PLC, a gasoline importer. Zenon Petroleum and Gas Ltd was founded by Otedola, who also owns a variety of other enterprises in shipping, real estate, and banking. As part of Nigeria’s power sector liberalisation, he recently invested in power generation.
