Moffy features Notse in new single “Mariana”

Ghanaian Hiplife and Afrobeats artist Moffy has released a new song “Mariana,” featuring Notse, a rapper, and songwriter from Ghana. The track is the latest release from the rising star, who is part of the 99 PHACES music group. Produced by High Jam, “Mariana” shows off Moffy’s skill at blending emotions with powerful beats.
Notse’s feature adds a special touch, giving the song a deeper and more soulful rhythm. “Mariana” according to Moffy is about the excitement of being with someone that makes you feel calm and happy.
With a smooth Southern Ga dance beat from Ghana, the song blends honest lyrics with a fun, danceable vibe mixed with traces of Latin American sounds. The song is now available on all major streaming platforms.
Born Joshua Nii Adotei Moffat, Moffy has a desire to be among the music icons of his generation; he blends his native Ga Kpanlogo sounds (Neo Jama) with Hiplife, Highlife, and the Afro fusion genres enough to connect with the soul of the Ghanaian soundscape. His sound is rich in culture and passion.
As a member of 99 PHACES, he helps his group push boundaries and inspire other creators through their collaborative work. Other rising artists in the group include Cozypols, Freddie Gambini, Mēl, and Insvne Auggie. Moffy contributed to the group’s debut EP, “So We Made A Tape” released in March, 2023.
The EP, which followed their successful single “Kiddie Time,” received widespread praise for its unconventional and diverse sound, combining Afrobeats, Alté, and Hip-Hop. Moffy’s individuality shines through in the project, reflecting his ability to stand out while collaborating with others.
Prior to that, Moffy had released songs that show his distinct sound. In 2021, he featured Marince Omario in a song “Down.” He made “Sweet Feeling” with Cozypols, Kynglouy and Freddie Gambini in 2022; and released “Joo” in 2023.
In the same year, Moffy’s talent earned him a spot among the winners of 1Life Network’s second-anniversary initiative, a program offering emerging artists a free live video shoot. Selected alongside talents like Real TNT, Riycon, and Kiki Celine, Moffy was recognized in 2023 for his ingenuity and flair.
The initiative provides professional equipment, technical support, and industry guidance, giving him a platform to elevate his visibility through high-quality visual content.
His first single of 2024, “Care For Me,” features UK-based R&B artist Loise and blends Afrobeats with Highlife. The track tells a love story centred on unconditional love, emphasizing the importance of nurturing relationships. His second song last year featured Romeo Swag titled “Wo.”
