Ghana Property and Lifestyle Expo returns to London for 8th edition

Ghana Property and Lifestyle Expo (GPLE) will return to the capital of the United Kingdom (UK) from November 9–10 for its 8th edition—an event regarded as “London’s biggest celebration of African real estate and lifestyle.” It provides a unique chance to learn about Ghana’s thriving real estate market.

Leading developers and business executives have already been drawn to the 2024 Expo, which began in October in Washington, DC, in the United States (U.S.), and will take place across three continents. After the London Expo, the three-part event will end in Accra, Ghana, in mid-December from 16-17.

The theme of the Expo, “Diligently Building Wealth Through Ghana Real Estate: The Future of Property Investment,” promises to be one of the greatest yet. It is organized by Anna and Victoria Agyekum, sisters and the founders of On Point Property Management LTD, in partnership with Access Bank (Ghana) PLC, and support from Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA).

The Expo is a crucial platform for international and diaspora investors, promoting wealth-building opportunities through property ownership in West Africa. Since its inception in 2017, the GPLE has significantly influenced Ghana’s real estate market by establishing a link between international investors and the nation’s expanding real estate industry.

“This event isn’t just about property—it’s about empowering individuals to build generational wealth by tapping into one of Africa’s most promising markets. Ghana’s potential is vast, and we’re thrilled to bring this opportunity to London once again,” said Anna.

This year’s edition will highlight the most recent advancements and prospects for real estate investment in Ghana, which has witnessed an unparalleled surge in both tourism and demand for real estate. Due to its stable political environment, Ghana has become a popular destination for investors hoping to profit from the country’s growing urbanization, tourism, and lifestyle trends.

“Our goal is to provide a one-stop platform where potential investorss can get the latest insights into Ghana’s property market, network with trusted professionals, and explore wealth-building opportunities. Whether you’re looking for a home, a rental property, or a luxury development, this is the place to start,” said Victoria.

Attendees of the Expo will have the opportunity to speak with reputable real estate professionals and investigate a range of investment options, including luxury developments and rental and Airbnb homes that satisfy the always rising demand for urban living.

Ghana receives over 1 million visitors a year; most of them are from the US and the UK, which is driving up demand for real estate. The emergence of upscale amenities like rooftop lounges, swimming pools, and grocery stores incorporated into new construction are lifestyle considerations that are fuelling this real estate boom.

“In recent years, Ghana has experienced a remarkable boom in both tourism and investment, with real estate being a major benefactor. The first half of 2024 alone recorded 5.8% economic growth, with Q2 2024 hitting 6.9%—the highest GDP growth in five years. The opportunities for investors are immense, and it’s exciting to see how a platform like the GPLE is helping to make Ghana a cultural and economic hub in Africa,” stated Akwasi Agyeman, CEO of Ghana Tourism Authority.

Expo attendees will also have the privilege of networking with exhibitors such as Goldkey Properties, Clifton Homes, Devtraco Group, Access Bank Ghana (PLC), and the Ghana Bar Association.
