Pee GH who is responsible for a handful of tracks for Ghanaian artistes like Sarkodie, EL, Wisa Gried and more produced the project. Duke D2 featured famed African reggae-dancehall musician Shatta Wale of Ghana on the new single.
The pair released the single with the intent of making it the ultimate turn up anthem for 2016 with the hope of inspiring people who listen to it and to speak against hating or undermining.
Speaking on the collaboration, Shatta Wale says, “Duke and I have a lot in common — we are mutual fans of each other’s work and we both love the grind of getting a lot of work done musically.”
According to Duke D2, “The song and video is surprisingly doing well online and as at the second week of April 2016 had amassed over 5 thousand views and counting on YouTube. I am currently working on an upcoming single with Ghanaian rapper EL” he says.
