He says he has been using his “music to spread positive energy among the youths of Africa and worldwide as a way of awakening them to realizing their power to creating better futures for themselves”.
Ever since AJ emerged from doing underground music in 2012, he has been progressively working on the release of his first album. He gave fans a foretaste of the upcoming album on April 20, 2014, when he released his first single You & I on Reverbnation which he featured ace Ghanaian musician Trigmatic and upcoming artiste A.K.O.
“My two new singles, released in May of 2015 were both produced by Danny Beatz who I believe did a very good job on them. I am very motivated to release my new album hopefully by 2016 ”.
“The new album will have lots of tracks; about 20 in all, and also lots of surprises for my fans in Ghana, Liberia, the USA and worldwide. There will be a few artistes featured on it but the album will be about my life’s story, my struggles, my fun times and how I celebrate my style of music with my fans whom I call #TeamAJ, they are basically the reason I do this anyway” he said.
