Diaspora Property Expo 2025 (DPE2025) has announced its official United States (U.S.) launch. DPE2025 is an event dedicated to bridging the gap between real estate opportunities in Ghana and the vibrant Ghanaian Diaspora in the U.S.
The launch scheduled for Tuesday, November 26, 2024, will take place at the Ghana Embassy in Washington, DC. During the upcoming launch, DPE2025 will present its mission, unveil its upcoming plans, and showcase key highlights from the actual event, which is set to be held at the World Trade Centre of Greater Philadelphia in March 2025 and 2026 in the U.S.
The main event will consist of an exhibition, investment clinic, conference, etc., featuring presentations and remarks from dignitaries, industry experts, and key players in the property investment sector, followed by a networking reception.
“Our vision for the 2025 Diaspora Property Expo is to create a trustworthy platform that empowers diaspora investors, developers, and property enthusiasts with the necessary tools, contacts, and information to confidently engage in property investments in Ghana,” said Roland Thomas, Chairman, Ghana Planning Board, DPE2025.
The keynote speech at the Embassy launch will be given by the event’s guest of honour, Rev. Stephen Yaw Osei, Chief Director of the Ministry of Works and Housing. In his speech, he will address the strategic importance of the event and its impact on Ghana’s real estate sector.
Mr. Kofi Nartey, a partner organiser of DPE2025, will give an overview of the current trends, challenges, and opportunities in Ghana’s real estate market. Representatives from the Diaspora community in the U.S. will also share personal stories of successful investments by members of the diaspora in Ghana’s real estate market.
This launch will be a unique opportunity to connect with others who share a commitment to Ghana’s real estate industry and economic growth. Ghana’s Ambassador to the U.S., Her Excellency Hajia Alima Mahama will underline this, giving insights into the Ghanaian government’s support for diaspora investment in real estate and related policies.
“Please join us as we embark on this exciting journey to empower the diaspora community with avenues to invest back home securely and sustainably. We look forward to celebrating the future of Ghana’s real estate with you,” emphasized Mr. Thomas.
