AFRICA: 2022 Second Round World Cup Qualifying Match
As we get closer to the historic 2022 World Cup in Qatar, more and more teams are vying for a spot in the event.
However, a number of teams still have work to do, because the road to the Middle East will be filled with twists and turns between now and the end of qualifying.
Only the top team from each of ten four-team groups advances to the final round of qualification, resulting in five teams making it to Qatar.
Morocco and Senegal have already clinched a playoff spot in their respective groups, with eight more matches to be played. Algeria, Tunisia, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Mali, Egypt, South Africa, and Tanzania are all in first place in their groups heading into the final two rounds.
